Initial sketch of what will hopefully, eventually, be a really awesome complete drawing.
When I started doing this I didn't realize how hard it was going to be. And none of references for Tonks are quite right- apparently this sort of crouch isn't common... but it's what I want, so there! It's just hard to draw.
And then my leg cramped when I sat like this for too long so that I could implant the exact angles to memory.... it hurt. I fell over, and then gave up.
But I will try, try again!

Ooh. I like it though. It's a really good idea. You should go back to this one! :) I know you posted it a long time ago. Try having a photograph of someone in that crouch in front of you? I don't know. I can't draw worth anything so... I've heard having a refrence helps. But I think this is a cool idea :)

Actually, if you brushed up the edges, the only thing that I can find wrong is the right leg (my left, her right). If you did that from memory, you did a really good job. I agree though, that's a much better crouch position.

You know it's funny you should say that, b/c I was driving home for work today and for some reason I was like: "I think I'll try to re-do that Lupin/Tonks picture".
I had a sort of reference, but it wasn't the type of crouch I had in mind, so I didn't really use it. Hehe.
